PAIR OF SIGNED FIRST ADDITION CHILDRENS BOOKS AND ACCOMPANYING PHOTOGRAPHS: This donation is a set of the following: First: A pair of autographed, first edition, children’s books titled “Freddy Fox” and “Casey Cougar”. Both books feature the wildlife photography of Ron Meyer and excite the child in all of us. They are the perfect holiday, birthday or no special occasion gifts for the children in your life. “Freddy Fox” is about a young fox and his family. The story follows the daily activities of the fox kit. The reader is first educated about the Red Fox through Freddy and then the lessons his mother teaches him using other animals. All of the lessons can easily be translated into lessons for young children. “Freddy Fox” is already in its second printing in just two and a half years. “Casey Cougar” is the story of a young cougar and his family. As Casey grows and develops the reader learns about cougars. When Casey reaches a year and a half, it is time to leave home and his mother gives him a challenge. Then, as an adult he relaxes in the warm sun knowing he had obeyed his mother, worked hard to learn his lessons and faced life’s challenges. Second: Two signed, numbered, limited addition, 11 x 14 inch photographs matted and framed in 16 X 20 inch frames. Each picture is the cover photo of each of Ron’s books “Freddy Fox” and “Casey Cougar”. Ron has been rated amongst the top five wildlife photographers in Michigan. In the year 2000 he was commissioned to exclusively provide the art work for a new major resort hotel in Montana. His wildlife photographs have been published in books and magazines including as covers and been the subject of television shows. Ron will be exhibiting and signing his books Saturday morning during the SCI Detroit Sensory Safari and kids programs. Stop by and visit his booth.
